Not Afraid to Stand Alone

Its no secret that Native Deen’s lyrics are commonly referred to as “cheesy”… and I have to say a lot of the time I think so too. My favourite ND tracks are the ones where they sing the loops “hasbunallahu wa ne3mal wakeel” and “astaghfirullah” etc, because they sound really good then. I also prefer it when they sing to when they rap – their delivery’s alright, but once again the lyrics have some way to go, and rap is about the words! Nevertheless, I still love Native Deen, just like everybody else, even if i don’t think they’re perfect. 

I hadn’t listened to them much for a long while now but the other day I came across some videos while on youtube and I was left going “wow”!! They’re getting some really good videos out there!! Its very proffessional quality, got story lines and everything – just the kind of videos you love watching.

I was even impressed with the song cause it was the first time I heard it – while watching the video.  It took away the whole “man the words is so childish” thing away… So if you’re going to listen to Native Deen and you find the lyrics “cheesy” – watch the video too!! (if there is one). Daze Studios doing some really good things for them it seems.. mashallah!

I’ll be posting some more of the other ND videos for you to enjoy inshallah… without al this extended commentary lol.
